What is the process for taking the photographs and producing the Virtual Tour?

We will turn up on site and take the necessary shots. Within 5 days of this we will post the tour to our website allowing you to proof it and make any changes necessary to wording of room descriptions or the order in which they appear.

On approval of the above and on receipt of cleared funds ( unless a credit arrangement has already been agreed with us) we will provide you with all the necessary files and instructions for you or your web master to post the finished tour to your website. We will, in addition and for no extra charge, provide you a high resolution "executable" CD version of the tour so you make include it in any marketing/promotional material that you may send out in the post.

 

In what format are the tours produced?

 

The software that we use to create the tours uses Flash technology . As a result anyone wanting to view the virtual tour must have Flash installed on their computer.98.8% of computers have it already installed but some machines have a slighlty older version which requires a small update.

We can produce the tours for viewing in other programs such a Quicklime or Flash, they have, however, different attributes to the tours that you see on our gallery page, examples of which you will find there.

 

What is a skin?

 

A skin is a image that surrounds the viewer that actually shows the tour. Our virtual tours use a very simple skin as we believe in not distracting from the job in hand.They come in a variety of standard colours to choose from however if require a specific colour please send us the HEX value and we will create a skin based on that.

Can i just have one panoramic photograph in a tour?

Yes, there isn't a restriction of the number of photographs per tour, with one photograph it means that there will be no hyperlink from one view another.

 

How much does the weather affect the shots?

Interior shots can be taken all year round, exterior is subject to the prevailing conditions.
